FOODIE FRIDAY: SMOOTHIE RECIPE

My sister Jo introduced us to this yummy smoothie recipe. Jo is a vegetarian and in need for some extra iron. The spinach in this smoothie gives her that boost while still tasting delicious. Try it yourself and let us know what you think!

Recipe

Blend the following together:

•1 banana

•2 handfuls of spinach

•half a cup of almond milk

•half a tablespoon of peanut butter

Optional

•dates for extra sweetness

That’s it!  Jo often drinks this on her way to work. Great way to start your day!
